The effective ways to manage your precious time
We all know the preciousness of time nowadays. Almost everything we do is time guided, Therefore, it is extremely important to adhere to the tips below and to start making sense of every single minute of your precious life. We can always make-up for things from the future, but we can never get a second of a lapsed time back!
Try to Establish responsibilities, priorities and objectives.
Just Ask yourself:
A- What is my level of responsibility in this matters
B- What are the most important aspects of my business that will contribute the most to it’s success (priorities)
C- How I’m going to address those priorities? OR (objectives).
D- Did I divide my projects into smaller pieces so they are easier to accomplish?
Eliminate unnecessary and inappropriate activities?
A- Is there anything that I think needs doing but that doesn’t need doing at all? that is, can I dump it?
B- Is there anything that I think need to be doing but that’s really doesn’t need to done now? That is can I delay it.
C- If there anything that I think needs doing that can done by someone else? That is… can I delegate it?
D- If you get through these “3 Ds” dump, delay and delegate and you still need to do it, go on to the following step.
Plan and schedule the use if your time-weekly and daily
Again ask yourself again:
A- Have I allowed room in my plan for the unexpected?
B- Have I reduced or eliminated as many distraction as possible?
C– Did I make optimum use of my peak energy time?
A- Decide what to delegate.
Every time you perform a task someone else. You keep yourself a task only you can do.
B- Plan the delegation.
Try to Be clear about task you are delegating and the time frame in which it needs to be completed.
C- Choose the right person.
Figure-out who has the interest, the potential ability, and the availability.
D- Try to Communicate effectively.
Describe the task. Agree together on expected results and timetable.
E- Always Follow through.
Encourage and support, share information and assess results. Recognize that the way they do the job may not be your way but they are getting the job done.
