Can I Delete System Error Memory Dump Files?

Can I Delete System Error Memory Dump Files?

To the best of my knowledge,  System error memory and mini dump files are where system errors that you receive, are being stored.  And they are safe to delete during disk cleanup.error1

These Dump files contain technical information about system crashes and other faults that might be useful to technicians during diagnosing problems. They contain information about the system state at the time of errors- such as running programs, what is loaded in memory etc.

Yes, they can be deleted. I personally prefer Windows built in disc cleaner not to delete important files, even though it is not as thorough as some commercial cleaners.

I try not to go for 3rd party disk cleanup tools as they might delete additional temp / log / hidden files. which can affect your system performance.

Hope this was of a great help, for further assistance please feel free to write me using the comment box below- visit the home page to learn more on how to master the online world.
